Doors open at 8:30pm, and ambient/walkabout entertainers welcome our guests.
At 9pm until approx. 10:30pm, there is a set Burlesque & Cabaret stage show.
Following this, the event turns into a disco-party, however there will still be performers on stage and doing walkabout performance during the rest of the night, so if you need a rest from dancing, you can still enjoy watching what is going on around you.
There are also trade stalls at this event, an additional cocktail bar, which runs alongside the general bar, and a 'street-food' menu.
(The catering is provided by Sheffield City Hall chefs/kitchens.)
The event ends at 3am.
There is plenty of (non-reserved) seating at the event; located around the main dance floor, and adjoining rooms, however the viewing for the cabaret stage show is standing.
This event has full wheelchair/disabled access.
You can choose to attend either of these events as a stand-alone, or you can start your night at Cabaret Gothique, then when that show ends, you will move over to join in the 'after-party' at The Grand Hallowe'en Ball.
An EXTRAVAGANZA of fabulous Burlesque, Vaudeville, Cabaret, Circus, & Variety acts, featuring multiple-award-winning local, national, and international guest performers displaying tantalising burlesque and cabaret routines, daring circus stunts, sideshow shenanigans, boylesque, drag, and a fair few surprises ... expect nothing less than excellent quality entertainment!
Presented in the Library Theatre, set in the heart of Sheffield's theatre district, the fantastic Grand Hall at Scarborough Spa - a beautiful Grade II* listed Victorian venue set in the South Bay of Scarborough, or within the stunning Art Deco Ballroom at Sheffield City Hall - let us welcome you into an exciting, glamorous atmosphere for an unforgettable night of unique variety entertainment!
Lara Gothique - "Hells Belle" was voted into the Top 5 "Best British Burlesque Performer" category by The Burlesque Awards,
and The Velvet Burlesque show troupe were awarded "Best British Burlesque Troupe".
Our shows are obviously labelled/billed as an 18+ Cert.
Due to content, some acts/performances will obviously include bawdy/risqué style humour/themes/language, plus there will be some degree of striptease.
We trust that having chosen to come along and see such a show as this, our general adult audience has a broad and inquisitive mind ... if not, our show/event is perhaps not for you.
These shows will also include flashing lights and loud noise - if you have an aversion to either, we suggest that these events are probably not suitable for you.
"It's not the Ballet ...!"
